Patrick Tsang speaks at the 7th Annual Family Office Super Summit
Last month, Patrick Tsang took part in the 7th annual Family Office Super Summit held by the Family Office Club, featuring 50+ family office speakers, 100+ Investors, 300+ attendees over two days. He had the opportunity to share his views on the investment industry during the Single Family Office Focus Discussion Panel.
Richard Wilson, CEO and Founder of the Family Office Club, asked him, “What is the most specific thing you are looking for to source?”
As a China-Focused Family Office headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in London, Beijing, and Shenzhen, we invest globally in sector and location-agnostic investments and special situation opportunities. Acting like an activist investor, we usually take minority positions in early-stage ventures. We are currently looking at tech-related themes, such as AI, big data, and e-commerce.
Patrick also spoke about one of our strategic investments, fuboTV (NYSE: FUBO), a sports-first live TV streaming platform based in New York. Tsangs Group has actively helped the company gather investors and enter the Asian market during the past two years. fuboTV was eventually listed on the New York Stock Exchange in October 2020, in which Tsangs Group has achieved a 230x return in two years.
In terms of impact investing, Tsangs Group will continue to invest in things that have positive influence and impact, such as climate change, wind, and clean energy projects. Most of us are purpose-driven instead of merely interested in financial gain. Our co-investors are also hoping to make investments that would create a positive and long-lasting impact. Tsangs Group will continue to open the Asian network for US companies with capital and using our global network by acting as a bridge between China and the rest of the world.
Special thanks to Richard Wilson and the Family Office Club for the invitation.
